Sunday Gatherings

We like to think of ourselves as a community that gathers. Our mission is to help religious and irreligious people to become gospel people. We desire to be a church with radical diversity yet uncommon unity. A church with a passion for gospel-justice in the city. A church known for generosity of time, money, gifts, and relationships. Sunday is only a part of what we do as a church, but we’d love to have you join us for one of our gatherings.

WHAT’S SUNDAY LIKE?

When you come to CoaH, you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly, positive environment by people that are genuinely excited to see you. Our gatherings usually last an hour and a half and are filled with great music played by a multi-cultural band. Our worship style is eclectic- ranging from gospel to folk to jazz and rock. We include both contemporary songs and traditional hymns. We try to keep in mind that people are coming from all different kinds of faith backgrounds and upbringings. The gathering also includes a sermon, communion, and a benediction. Feel free to participate as much or as little as you like. We have people at all sorts of different places in their spiritual lives. Dress is casual, just be yourself. You’ll see people in shorts and a t-shirt, and some in a blazer or dress!
